Some of the Evidences Regarding the Behaviour of Abu Mu’ādh Taqweem Aslam

Testimony is from the strongest form of evidence. Shaikhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullāh) mentioned:

“The condition of the people is known sometimes by the testimonies of the people, sometimes by way of Jarh wat-Taʿdeel, and sometimes by examining and testing.”
[Majmoo’ Al-Fatawa: 15/330]

The following are a small selection of the witnesses and testimonies regarding the harmful impact of Abu Mu’ādh Taqweem’s character and conduct on the Daʿwah in various cities, by those who were extremely close to him, and who knew him the best. It was this behaviour that led us to very quietly stop inviting him to the Annual Conferences in Birmingham, contrary to his claim that it was merely due to his position on Covid. These testimonies regarding Abu Muʿādh and his dealings in the daʿwah, with the marākiz and with people are not tabdeeʿ of our brother or any intent to remove him from the fold of Ahlus-Sunnah and Salafiyyah.

These testimonies have been brought to light here after demands were made in public for sources, proofs and witnesses. However, we have been advising Abu Muʿādh in private for several years for his harmful conduct towards the people of Sunnah and his sowing of distrust and splitting among once united communities, and even among masjid and markaz administrations.

We tried in many ways to contain the affairs as much as possible in order to preserve unity and brotherhood.

We sincerely hope and ask Allāh to rectify the affairs.
